Just be kind to him. It's the best you can do. Talk with a calm, soothing voice not one of offense (because he never means to offend you), smile & be supportive wherever you are. The worst thing someone can do is to yell back at the person who is having panic or get too involved.
Same thing happened with my brother in law. My sis had been telling him how outrageous he was, didn't believe her but when i asked him what was wrong, it was like a lightning bolt hit him.
sometimes when someone ele says the same thing, they listen. (or get a video/recording of his behavior...bet he doesn't believe its him.

Please say some prayers for us. I know its anxiety/panic but it almost seems like he would show more respect to an employee he didn't know. Like we are sitting ducks because we are his family. It would seem to me that if we don't allow any negative behavior, wouldn't it get better? I've thought about making him sit down and breath in a quiet place when he goes into these episodes. Business suffers and we all suffer....thanks guys
