I have read through most of the discussions and feel like so many of you really should be family.
First of all, in the last 13 years I have had a total of 17 jobs. If that doesn't tell you something is wrong I don't know what will... I am such a people pleaser that I feel like if someone asks me something they need the answer right then and there. I get sweaty, turn bright red and loose every bit of vocabulary I have. The people ask if I am okay and it is incredibly embarrassing. It has been so bad that I have ran in the other direction before crying. I have tried working in the backroom at wal-mart to decrease my interaction with customers because once I get to know my co-workers it isn't as bad as customer contact. However, my most recent experience working in the back-room at wal-mart was just as bad as being out on the front line. I worked in the grocery backroom and was near the freezers which you would think surely would help with the sweats. It didn't. I still had to go to the bathroom every 30 minutes to an hour to wipe myself down with a cold paper towel.
My anxiety has gotten the better of me and I am ready for it to be a thing of the past.
Working is not the only thing that sets my anxiety into motion. I also get incredibly anxious when I don't know what is going to be happening that day. So, when my husband tells me we are going somewhere and I ask where are we going; his reply of just sit there and you'll see makes my anxiety sky rocket. Yes my husband knows that I have anxiety issues, but it is such a habit with him to be a fly by the seat of the pants kind of person he can't just up and change and I don't expect him to.
Sometimes I feel like it's more than just anxiety, but I haven't been diagnosed with anything yet other than having anxiety attacks.
I hear things that most other people have to really strain to hear. So when people talk to me I have to really focus on them or the background noise will overtake everything they say. For instance, one of my maw maw's had a clock in her living room which was at the front of her house and I could hear it ticking over the tv and I would be in the back of the house.
I am also sensitive to be touched. It's like I'm hypersensitive to most things. Which makes me very anxious because if someone rubs against me for more than 10-15 seconds it begins to actually hurt.
Well, my husband see's that I'm on here with anxiety soaring so he is taking my to an archery range. Crossing my fingers that we are the only ones there. Otherwise I will be sitting on the sidelines.

I've never heard of a spouses income being considered for disability. What state do you live in, if you don't mind mine asking? I went on short term disability multiple times before becoming completely disabled. They never looked at anything of my husbands or joint property. Mind you, I could never live with what disability pays without my husband working. And I started work at 15. But if you think that would be the best thing for you, then you might want to.
