Welcome! I just joined daily strength a few days ago after a friend told me about it. I had dealt with depression and anxiety all through high school. It is soo frusturating when anxiety and depression doesnt go away. Today late at night I was crying and holding my boyfriend. I felt like I wanted to die because my anxiety feels soo awful sometimes and I just tell God I want to be with him feeling the peace. Eventually the horrible feelings pass but I believe too it drives me crazy when I have the feelings off and on especially on that time of the month. I am soo sorry that you feel bad about finances, and it seems like you do have two beautiful children who I bet are very blessed to have you as a mother. Im sure it would tear them up inside if you harmed yourself. You can always talk to me when you feel that way. Remember too that they are just feelings and we don't always act on our feelings. I hope most people don't because their is always some light through the tunnel. I have been experiencing falling at work and blacking out. I don't know whats going on but its been almost two years that I havent discovered what the symptoms are. I have been feeling like a failure because I am trying to get through this and want the symptoms I have at work to pass like before. I always remember, "This too shall Pass." Trust me I know its frusturating when its not passing. I agree with the others maybe talking to a counselor? I have a friend with general anxiety like me. She told me she couldn't funtion normally if she didn't seek help and she is on a medicine. I hope you have a lot of love and support in your life. I am going to pray for you and everyone struggling. Take each day as it comes. Try not to think about the other days ahead. Thats what helps me get through the anxiety. A good book I have called Mood Therapy is very uplifting also.
