This is a group that people with anxiety issues can come to discuss what is going on with them and meet ppl that are in the same boat.
I have a dentist appointment this week. I am nervous about going, but I have to weigh the options. I can't change the appointment because I would have to wait until sometime next month, and I can not wait that long because with the aching from the tooth, I can not eat, drink anything, sleep, or listen to music. They moved my dentist appointment up tomorrow at 1:00 pm instead of Thursday at 11:00.
When I lived in another state in the 1990s, I went to the dentist for the first time. What happened was I got sick when during that time. I had to have a tooth pulled and there is a possibility that I might have the same thing happen. Before I went to the dentist in the 1990s, a classmate, in the Valley College, had told me about her experience at the dentist. I was so scared that I almost did not go but I had no choice.

Does anyone here have a comfort item you carry with you when you go out? For example this is my doll, Annie, and I've recently been bringing her with me when I run errrands flor have an appointment. Holding her comforts me. I've bought her clothes, crocheted for her, I recently bought a personalized blanket with her name on it. Just wondering if anyone else has a comfort item.
