i've been really thinking in the last couple days that i need to start saying, yes yes yes as in, go and do things i don't think i can do. i don't want to stay home and survive, i wanna go out and thrive. do you avoid or face and how does it work for you?

this is one of my daily conversations with myself. due to some health problems in the last 2 years it has made it easy for me to isolate myself and let life pass me by. there is so much that i want to do yet i let my fears guide me.

I say face it! I began getting scared to drive so I didn't drive 4 awhile so I had to force myself to do it cause the longer u wait the harder it's going 2 be

I struggle with this all the time! I don't have anxiety while I'm making plans and my "real self" is always answering yes to everything! The anxiety kicks in while I'm doing whatever it is I've signed up to do and then I kick myself for not learning from the last time I did this to myself.

At the end of the day though, I am UNWILLING to let anxiety control me. I guess I'd rather suffer a little bit and live life then let it pass me by. :/

I think that you need to face it, unless you are having a really bad day. I think it's ok to have one of those days where you just can't do anything, but don't let that be the rest of your life. I try to face life and get out of the house most of the time it is ok, sometimes it is hard, but I am doing it. Be proud of all of your accomplishments no matter how small they may seem to some, they are huge for people like us.
