I have been on Warfarin for a few years after having my second bout of mulitple bilateral PE's. Tested positive for anticardiolipin antibodies right after my first episode with PE's. I also developed costochondritus after the second PE's. Last year I decided to stop taking my depression medication and when I came off of it, I started having horrific body pain. Saw a rheum doc who tried to diagnose me with fibromyalgia with a 15 minute appointment.
I recently saw a new rheum who thinks that my body aches, costochondritus, under active thyroid & PE's are related. The anticardiolipin antibodies didn't show up on the most recent test but she thinks that's the culprit. I used to get really awful outbreaks of scaly rashes on my face and started using a steroid cream to treat it. Used it for years but then my insurance stopped covering it. Within a few days of not having it, I've developed a scorching case of Rosacea.
The rheum doc put on Plaquenil. She said it would take a few months to know to know if it's working.
Is rosacea common with this condition? Does anyone know if Plaquenil will help with skin issues as well as the body aches?

I'm very concerned about this microclotting issue, as I've had hearing loss too that started long before my diagnosis and I wonder if it's related. No one has ever told me about Plaquenil but I heard about it first on the APS organization site.
