Wondering if I should try to see my Dr. my pain is

I want to blame it on the weather and the winter. But it seems so much worse lately. My spine is burning and I'm so numb in my hands and my feet. My arms ache from what feels to be my shoulder pain. I can only describe my back as if it is frozen up. Like it is a huge rock. sitting hurts, resting hurts, everything does. It makes me wonder if my spine is worse or if this is just a flare up? I don't know though.When you have flare ups do you feel this way, the frozen back, more numbness, arms aching? Just trying to figure out if it is a flare up or what.I have a horror of my Neurologist now. So I don't call them unless I absolutely have to.I've had 2 spine surgeries, and never ever want another. I think it is a couple of months until I'm due to see my Rumey, but I know I'm going to have to call him,this is so bad lately.

It sounds like you are going to have to see the Rheumy. Tell him that you didn't like the last doctors and why. Let him suggest another one, and them go online and look at the health grades. Patients on-line comments and so many out of how many stars are only a lose guideline, look at their comments, which are more reveiling.
But Hospitals are graded by insurance companies, with deductions for accidents, botched work, sanitation, and such things. So if you find a hospital with good grades, they you can look at their doctors. And you met the guy/gal and don't like them, find someone else.
and perhaps your meds just need adjusting? We can hope!
