A hot bath takes away all pain. Love it!

I'm sad right now, because my little electric heat pad has died. I love it and normally lie on that at night to settle the back spasm down a bit. But my good 'ol hubby bought me a heated throwrug the other day so I have a new love now :)
A friend suggested filling a long sock with rice and microwaving it as a piable hotpack for the neck. I saw advertised the other day a neck massager/heater/cushion shaped like a horseshoe = has anyone tried one of these?
Infrared saunas are good for temporary relief. I was nervous to begin with, didnt want to bring on another flare, but 15 mins in the sauna gives me about 3-4hrs of relief.
And then get all the hot water, hot showers and hot baths you can get!!! Spa baths even better.
I keep a couple of disposable heat pads in my bag that react to air and heat once opened. Have one in my bag and one in the glovebox!
And then when all else fails, sit outside with the sun on your back!!!
I also have RA, AS, DDD, and all kinds of painful parts. A hot soak really helps me feel close to normal.
I also use O24 Fibromyalgia to help get rid of my pain. I LOVE that stuff. It's made up of 7 organic essential oils. It's approved by the FDA and endorsed by the NFA. I get it at www.zoneo24.com/boise
I think using the Zostrix cream, which when applied puts instant heat to your spot.
I have purchanced a solar sauna, which also makes me feel better.
But every morning when I wake up stiff I use my special heating pad I got that physical therapy's use.
Also Enu oil is very helpful without the smell
