Hi there, I saw this lovely group and thought what a great one to join. I think is so nice to talk about our animals. Last Friday on the 28 September, I had to say good bye to my dog Wendy, it was a hard thing to do. But anyway, Wendy I found when she was 18 months running in the main road and there was so many cars around. I went to park my car and then went to try and catch her. I remember that day so much, I called her and she came running towards me. She was a sweet little dog, a Jack Russell. I took her home and we tried to find out where she came from and looked for her owners. But no one came forward, she we kept her. She was my baby girl, and because she was on her own, I gave her a Teddy bear which was nearly as big as her. She would take her Teddy bear to bed with her each night, and cover herself with her blanket. It was so sweet seeing this whole thing each night. She would throw her balls up into the air and jump to catch them. I have such beautiful memories of her, that I will always treasure. After Wendy, my mom found Jonty and then also found Bikkie, Jonty came to us as a puppy and Bikkie was found on the road. He had lots of tricks and fleas on him, and the bucket the water was black with all the fleas and tricks after we took them off his body, amazing he did not get sick with all of those on his body. We also kept Bikkie in the end and he was a beauiful dog and would not take no for an answer, all he wanted was everyone to love him. Last year we also ahd to say good bye to Bikkie. So losing Wendy this year and Bikkie last year was not easy. Both Wendy and Bikkie were blind and old.
