I was hopeing for some advice for my sick kittys.,without takeing to a vet.I have four kittens that are 8 weeks old ,they have diahrea and are throwing up once in awhile.it is white chunky stuff.I do not see worms so thats not it .Do you have any ideas??Then I have a cat that is almost 6 months old who just caught a bad cold .sneezeing,runny nose and watery eyes.Is there anything I can do for him??I really hate seeing my babies suffer but I cannot afford to take them to the vet.Please help with any ideas you may have. Thanks

cat flu in the older can be fatal so u will hae to take to vet as for the kittens be careful what u r feeding them never normal milk that may make them sick only use kitten milk they shud be still suckling from their mum anyway sorry to be harsh but if u cant afford the vet u shouldnt have pets that is cruel i know here in scotland u can go to PSDA and get free treatment if ur on benefits or on low income but it suggested to give them a donation please try and find out about free or cheap health care for ur kittens they will need thier jags too

Hi Tammy.
What about a kitten rescue? They might be able to help? I don't know if you have one in your area.... What if you call your local humane society? They might know of a service that can help, maybe a vet who donates his time for people who can't afford to go to the vet? Or a local vet might know of someone who can help? Let us know how they're making out...

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
