Anger Management Support Group
Anger management commonly refers to therapeutic techniques by which someone with excessive or uncontrollable anger can control or reduce their emotions. Typical examples include the use of deep breathing and meditation as a means to relaxation. Psychologists recommend a balanced approach, which both controls the emotion and allows it to express itself in a healthy way.

So over the past week, I've been dealing with what I believe to be is the spawn of Satan herself, my roommate Stephanie. Stephanie is by far one of the most selfish people I know. She expects things from other people simply because she is a cancer patient, but refuses to return the favor when someone else needs anything.
For example, I have had to give her rides and pick her up from the airport, or to work, on numerous occasions. However, the one day I needed a ride somewhere, she would blatantly ignore me and then get angry when I was upset with her for her lack of reliability.
Over the past week, I have had to remove everything from the kitchen which is mine (which is pretty much everything), speak to the cops on 2 different occasions because she called them and falsified things that I said or did, spoken to the cops once of my own accord to try to press harassment charges, had a blood pressure that is 20 points above normal, slept on average 4 hours a night, and basically, just lived in fear that her boyfriend (who has a rather extensive criminal record for theft) would clean my room out while I was gone. She currently owes me $260 for allowing her boyfriend to stay here during the month of February, which she refuses to pay. As such, I have refused to pay that portion of the rent (it is reimbursement for the rent I paid last month) until I receive it. Which means I am likely going to be evicted from my apartment over this bitch.
It has been a LONG time since I have felt such anger and hatred towards someone as I do with her. She abuses prescription narcotics and other drugs, and I have found her passed out in the apartment before. I just had to record a verbal conversation with her to provide documentation that she openly lies about everything. She has lost a LOT of friends because of her behavior. I just want her gone. I want her out of my apartment permanently (can't happen because she signed the lease unfortunately). I will probably take a lot of flak just for saying this, but it has gotten to the point where I'm just waiting for her to overdose. I really am. She is an absolutely horrible person and I truly feel that the world would be better off without her

Life is too short to allow toxic people to invade your life like this. Find a new roomate. Stephanie needs to live with someone that doesn't mind being a doormat.

That is what I'm working on. I'm trying to find someone to take over her portion of the lease (which isn't easy, as I live in a college town and people aren't typically looking for a place at the beginning of March). She feels that she's entitled to things simply because she has cancer (she's made that argument to me before, just not using those exact words).

Hope you find the perfect replacement soon!

The way it is looking now, eviction is my best course of action. I have just never felt so angry as when I look at her and realize that all she does is lie. She lies to my face, to everybody else, and she gets away with it because she has cancer and people feel pity for her.

omega people only learn when they see the evidence in black and white that they are out the door. Hope it goes well but be aware that evicting a disabled person (is she and still a student) can be more difficult.

Some, not omega

I never thought I would see or, rather hear that someone was in such a similar situation to mine. Sorry you have to put up with this.

Is there anyway you can move out and just quit dealing with this bitch? This sounds awful, but maybe cancer bitch will die and you will finally be free from this hell. I hate it when people use their illness to dominate over people. I have never done that, and normal genuine people would not to that either.
