Anger management commonly refers to therapeutic techniques by which someone with excessive or uncontrollable anger can control or reduce their emotions. Psychologists recommend a balanced approach, which both controls the emotion and allows it to express itself in a healthy way.

Since it's becoming a pattern, and you want to stop, maybe, right after the call, you could jot down what was said that angered you,
or if there was something that made you feel insecure about things - maybe a sigh or a disaproving tone, or you thought that he was distracted - possibly using the pc while you were talking -- it would be better to ask him at the moment if it's something he says or does that upsets you. It may not be about him -- just a suggestion.
