Anger Management Support Group
Anger management commonly refers to therapeutic techniques by which someone with excessive or uncontrollable anger can control or reduce their emotions. Typical examples include the use of deep breathing and meditation as a means to relaxation. Psychologists recommend a balanced approach, which both controls the emotion and allows it to express itself in a healthy way.
Yelling -it goes from bad to worse, getting louder and meaner over time. It's just better to give it up. Walking away and counting - it
just takes a few minutes for the anger to subside.
Sending good thoughts.
I had to go through the consequences before I am now realizing again that yelling at people when angry is not the way to go. I just got banned from a nationally known bank forever due to my actions of yelling at them. It was a blessing in disguise, I actually want to hug the person who made the decision, people just don't understand, if you have the luck some of us angry folks have had, you'd be yelling to, I want to say to them.
If you can, because the release from yelling especially when things truly aren't going your way and you're trying your hardest but the anger and yelling is just like tylenol, let it simmer over. Today I got angry that I am at a point in my life where I want to change but the workings of society have pretty much said "you had your chance a long time ago son." The world has given up on me, this world and it's people don't care about me, but God does, ask his or her or it's help, it will help tremendously and you'll start to laugh at the people who make you angry or the things that make you angry. Alot of anger is trying to or waiting for change that isn't coming or won't happen. Acceptance is huge, if you've been as angry as me (maniacle), you'll come to a point where "life" and the "world" as other's see it will become childish, and you'll grow up to the point of smiling and loving yourself. The world is cold, the fact of the matter is both of us and everyone else shouldn't have to suffer from stress while other's ignore us because they are ignorant. On the other side of the coin, nobody deserves to be yelled at. If you keep yelling at people, eventually someone bigger and badder than you will come and show you why you shouldn't be yelling, that's the rule of law.
Here's stuff that has helped me with my anger.
1. People are free to do whatever they please, and they will if they can get away with it. The best way to deal with people is to just let them think they are Gods. Kiss ass, bend over backwards for them, do whatever you have to do to not be a problem for them. Especially Americans, we think we are God's finest but we can't even save our own from poverty and strife.
Much of the time it is completely wrong and no man or woman has the right to demand, act illegal (both spiritually and literally), or treat other's like they are less than. Currently I am bending over basically and allowing people to treat me like shit to not get angry. My temper is quick, short, and brutal. I went on a role of years where I didn't back down one inch, and got my way alot, because I was on a righteous high horse and angry at the world. The point is people will retaliate when you yell at them. It might not be then and there, but this whole world is set up by man to serve what he or she thinks is justice, instead of forgiveness and love. It's that simple.
2. Find out what you like and what makes you not want to be angry. Again, it is that simple. Things you can't control aren't wise to get angry at, unless it's a natural anger you can't help. For instance, I get depressed when I should really be getting angry and vice versa. People are crazy, no one is normal, if you have a house and a car and a job that doesn't make you normal, that makes you lucky. Don't get caught up in the whole competition or status garbage either, it will just make you madder at the world if you're anything like me. Survival of the fittest is the rule most people in this world abide by, I'm seeing this is the wrong way for me to live and I like weak people more than "strong" people.
Everyone has a weakness and a weak period in their lives, some just remember that it is a fact more so than others.
3. If something isn't going your way, and the stress is taking it's toll on you, reward yourself with a small pleasure and take a break. You're in the military it seems, very heartless faction of a society that hides behind weapons saying that's to have heart. I woudn't last a day in the military, too radical, too ambitious, and too real. Some asshole tries to put me in line and I think about ending their life just for that. I'm not proud of it, but I'm not ashamed either.
Life is not a race, it's not a rank, it's not a divide, life is God and how he or she or it love you so much that the end result is always peace and happiness. I don't care if the President swears life is a "race to the top", last time I checked his numbers were on the bottom end of the scale. Life is an experience, believe it or not your fortunate to be angry because once it leaves, and it will leave, you will be able to help other's not feel like you do now. This is all making your a better person and you're daughter or son will love you more and respect you more when you see how you can get through it.
I love and serve God, so I am obligated to help you. If I said anything that made you angry, my sincerest apologies and hopefully it will show you it's ok to ingore people, but unwise to ignore God.
