Anger Management Support Group
Anger management commonly refers to therapeutic techniques by which someone with excessive or uncontrollable anger can control or reduce their emotions. Typical examples include the use of deep breathing and meditation as a means to relaxation. Psychologists recommend a balanced approach, which both controls the emotion and allows it to express itself in a healthy way.
Your weapon of Anger is harming you....its self destruction.
Yes, anger hurts the ones that you are acting out on...but deep down...it is you that is hurting.
Keep working with the therapist...to get to the roots and resolutions for the Anger. So you can someday have peace.
First of all Id like to say that I am glad Youve made some progress , thats really good , keep working on it !!!
Also Id like to say something that might sound common for you to hear but hope it will be useful for you in some way .... I spent many years of my life deep in anger , even small situations triggered rage and anger in me and although I wasnt proud of it , I felt like it was a way of protecting myself from some kinda harm , later on I found out that I was trying to protect myself from my own sadness and disasfaction with myself , I used anger so I wouldnt get sad or admit my mistakes and that was killing me each day , maybe on that day you could get a glimpse of how messed up your emotional side became with the years , You should focus on understanding why you built up so much anger inside , plus try working on becoming peaceful during situations that usually trigger your anger but please dont keep it within , instead fight back those angry emotions you get until there is none left at the time , You shall make big progress if You manage this . That weapon you mention may point at others but its pointing at you the most , dont continue to harm yourself !!! Hope You will understand my message , take care and get well !!!
I get what you've said. I'm getting better, made progress again. I'm kind of happy now :)
Have a nice day!
