Anemia Support Group
Anemia (or anaemia), which literally means "without blood," is a deficiency of red blood cells and/or hemoglobin. This results in a reduced ability of blood to transfer oxygen to the tissues, and this causes hypoxia; since all human cells depend on oxygen for survival, varying degrees of anemia can have a wide range of clinical consequences.

Taking 5 mg of folic acid is VERY important with HS patients, hope your daughter is taking a folic acid supplement..
Good luck, I hope your daughter will get some help for her RA as well as the HS.
I am not sure if the two are linked in any way, other than both affecting the immune system.
I'm 17 and I have spherocytosis and since gallstones are common for those who have spherocytosis, I had to get my gallbladder removed. I haven't had my spleen removed yet though. Anemia comes with spherocytosis. Keep an eye out for gallstones.
I can't help you with JRA, but for spherocytosis you should look out for a drop of energy. It can happen at any time. My father had to get his spleen removed at age 3, but my cousin kept hers until age 13.
Just... be careful.
