Anemia Support Group
Anemia (or anaemia), which literally means "without blood," is a deficiency of red blood cells and/or hemoglobin. This results in a reduced ability of blood to transfer oxygen to the tissues, and this causes hypoxia; since all human cells depend on oxygen for survival, varying degrees of anemia can have a wide range of clinical consequences.
I'm 50 years old and feel more like 80 sometimes. But just so ya know, Photogrl, if you need to, you can probably go out on disability. I went out for a few weeks for similar reasons. You might want to look into it.
I think people may think I'm a hypochondriac, but I know that my symptoms are as real as anything...just not visible to others.
