The pattern of hair loss in women differs from male-pattern baldness. In women, the hair becomes thinner all over the head, and the hairline does not recede. Androgenetic alopecia in women rarely leads to total baldness.

i am writing for my wife ,she is 54 last few months she has been loosing her hair from the front ,i have been told about some bosley method also her friend is suggesting for$ 5000 spending to do an implant .
she is depressed and i am concerned for her this issue can any one advice .
i ma not sure how to aproach this situation .where do i begin to take care

This site is slow and doesn't have much of a response. Her alopecia has all of the options on what she can do. Tell her to start off by seeing a Derm to determine her type of hair loss. Then they'll go from there.
