Amputation is the removal of a body extremity by trauma or surgery. Many have undergone amputation or have been living with a missing limb since birth. Questions for you Transtibials or BTKer's out there.
1. Do you roll your stump liner onto your stump exactly the same way every time to the point that the liner takes on the curve and outline of your stump or
2. Do you rotate the stump liner 180 degrees so that you wear it on the opposite side you did the day before.
3. If you wear a mineral oil gel liner, do you lube up with Vaseline? My O and P said to do this but the literature with my lines say DON'T,

When new, it was pretty greasy with mineral oil, which I didn't particularly like. Caused a couple of superficial boils, no real problem, though. I wouldn't even consider adding oil or lotion or anything to the liner or my skin. I think it's important to keep them as squeaky clean and dry as possible.
