Amputation is the removal of a body extremity by trauma or surgery. Many have undergone amputation or have been living with a missing limb since birth. In either case, life as an amputee can be challenging. This is the place to find others going through the same experiences as an amputee. Share your thoughts, troubles, and solutions with the community.
If they're fine, you might need to go to physical therapy so they can check your gait, the height of your rollator, and see if you're favoring one side over the other. Your prosthesis, if you're using one, might also need adjustment. If any of those things are off, the PT can train you how to correct them (or in the case of the rollator, adjust it properly). If it's your prosthesis, your prosthetist can can make the necessary adjustments.
