Double Amputee

Newly double amputee- Need advise-Just got my linners and both legs are breaking out. They sent me these socks to put under them


but they keep making my linners move.  Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Baseball.... i would be back at my prosthetist office....moving liners are not really a good thing, especially if it is that noticeable to you. I'm guessing that you were probably allergic to whatever the liner is made of.... they make liner s out of a variety of thing...silicone, gels, and more. So yea get with him/her and let them know. Don't be shy about it!

One other thought..probably not the case but...depending on the weather you maybe developing a lot of perspiration under the liner, especially as a new amputee and that sweat can obviously help the liner move.

Also, in the meantime...I would also suggest that every hour or so, taking off the liners and reseating them so they are fitting properly. I know it's a pain in the butt...but it may keep you from bigger issues later on (this is something I do currently with my liner).
