Hello everyone My mom and me are about to go crazy My grandma is getting on our nerves She is being really hateful when you tell her not to something it makes her mad. For the last several days we have had to clean up messes that shes made The other day She pooped and got it on her shoes then she track it over over the house. Its really getting hard to deal with her

Take a deep breath. Unfortunately these days will be more often then not. It's not her, its the disease. I am dealing with the same thing (my grandmother being hateful)... It hurts.

Have you thought about having an aid come in? You may be at that point. Aids can make life much less tense. And you and your mom can get a break for a bit. I wish you luck, and the strength to get through your grandmother's bad days.

Thanks A lot We may have to look into hospice and see if they can help us. Cause we need a break

It is so hard when your loved one leaves, and the diesase remains..............Yes, respite is a must. Poor Gran is not being mean or hateful. That is ALZ

Your nearest Council on Aging and Social Worker may be able to help. I agree with ajmelone, get help now.
