I know this is a hard time..the saying goodbye,when they don't know who you are...just keep in your heart,you were there when she needed you most.

Waiting for the end is a sad thing to endure. Peace and blessings flowing your way.

It was very hard being with my father in Hospice at the end but I am completely glad that I was able to do this. SAD,

Sad for you, Hopefully this will be very important too you as you go on.

I too, want to send my love and comfort to you. It really is difficult to say good-bye. You are a wonderful daughter.

This is a rough time, but you have been a wonderful caring daughter. My husband has had Alz. for 8 yr. and is in mid stage - in his family it goes slowly. Not all good. I wanted to tell you I have been in a coma and it is a good and peaceful place. When your mother goes into one if she does, know that she is at peace and the end will be like a new and easy sleep.

I feel so sad for you. I am going through the same with my mom. My mom still knows me most of the time but with her other medical problems she is failing daily. I have started counseling because I am having such a hard time with watching my best friend (mom) going through what she is going through. I kiss her good night every night and rush in first thing in the morning to make sure she is still with me.
You and your mother are in my prayers. I know its hard but we have to be strong for them right to the end.

God bless you, this is so very difficult. Try to remember that when we get to Heaven, we are whole again, young again, and all is good and well and healthy. It is us who grieve, as we should, but I hope down the road you will remember the devastation of this awful disease and praise God that she's finally free. I will be praying for you both.
