I went to the bathroom and when I came back Rollie was in the living room, shouting, "HELLO?! HELLO?!" There was such terror and panic in his voice and he was crying, "I thought you left me." I hugged and assured him I wasn't leaving. How long was I in the bathroom? 5 minutes, maybe? Very sad.

That is so sad, poor guy glad you were there for him.
This kind of thing is what makes me worry when I leave him somewhere other than my sisters. I feel comfortable about the quality of care but do they give hugs when they get scared?
Nobody hugs as good as us.

That is so heartbreaking for you and how frightening for him. So far Neal has never said anything about being afraid when Im out of his sight but there are days when I wonder if he might be having some anxiety, those days when he seems to shadow every move I make. This is such a cruel disease.

That is so sad and scary. I have never experienced anything like that with Ron. How awful. I can't imagine feeling such fear.

If Ron has such feelings he is unable to express them.

I think that is Rollie's PTSD coming out with the ALZ, he was always been afraid of the dark due to VN and being left behind. There was an incident for him in VN where he and another soldier had to make a run for supplies. I think the ALZ has stripped away his ability to keep that under wraps.

Ken is beginning to get panicky when I am not around. People have to bring him to me in Church now, because he can't find me. It really places and extra burden on us. Sometimes we just need to be alone, especially when we are in the bathroom.
