I had to chuckle reading your post. especially the part about mixing the remote up with the phone. My hubby did that many times. he too always thought he was watching something he never saw simply because he always went to sleep and never watched anything from beginning to end. Often times I said, if this weren't so sad it could be funny at times. You are right..pick your battles. Not everything is worth the hassle. Keep smiling.
