I know what you mean. My mom used to wake up at least 2 times at night all wet or screaming. The meds work, but not all the time. After a while you have to increase the dosage. I would check with the doctor.

Roy had a very rough night last night, he was very depressed. Wonders what is wrong with him, said doesn't think he is going to get better. It was very upsetting. This is the first he has talked like this. Thinks I don't love him, and I couldn't find out why he would think that. We have always been very close, and I never thought he would doubt my love for him.
He isn't awake yet, I hope he is feeling better today. Any advice?

Ginger I can only share what my parents are going through right now. My dad is probably in early stages or at least this is new to them. The doctor has not told them a stage so we can only guess.

About 2 months ago my dad figured out that he was not going to "get better". The meds that he thought would cure him will only give him some more time. As you can imagine this was devastating to him. He called up each of his kids to let them know...of course we all knew.

I know from the phone calls from my mom that this has been a very hard time. They fight alot, often over small things like where his glasses are. Since he is still functioning very well she still fights back. Soon she will realize that there is no point.

There is no answer. Some days are good and some are bad. The only hope is that the next day will be as good or better.

Hope for "as good. There will probably never be an "or better".
