He used to take a couple of naps but lately he just walks around talking all day.
If I am on the phone he trys to talk to me because he thinks I am talking to him.
He goes to his first day care on Tuesday. I am starting with 4 hours I am hoping it will help him to get out . It wasn't that long ago he would walk around the yard or sit in a lawn chair and watch me work.
He has changed so much in the last month.
Ron has brain damage from the heart episodes in 2005. His speech was pretty much wrecked totally coming out of that...and I spent so much time with rehabs and speech therapy trying tryng and now I mostly wish he would't try to talk because it is --except for a few minor exceptions --listening to word salad all the time and it drives me crazy...makes me sad too....he was very articulate we used to talk a lot...
There is nothing good, easy or nice about this horror called Alzheimer's - for anyone.
