My kids gave me a BD party this weekend, boy that sure threw Rollie off. He was so confused. I am not surprised, I know that happens, I am just posting this for newer members as an example of how routine is so important and can rally affect ALZ patients.

I wrote earlier in a post that the weekend flips my mother out. Just that very simple change in TV shows can do it.

Hi Deborah

I agree with sherbear2 as you really have (Hit the nail on the head) for those of us that have any type of dementia which Im quiet aware of myself since at the moment we are in the process of getting ready for my stepdaughters wedding that will be from Thursday 14 Saturday 26 June, to say that all the preparations have already caused me a great deal of anxiety and added confusion would be a gross understatement so like you I have posted about it as a new discussion for other people to be aware of how being out of any type of normal daily routine can be so detrimental to our well being.
