Hi I am new to this group but I am helping my parents take care of my 90 year old grandma . She is in the moderate stages of Alzheimer's The diease runs in her family Her dad had it and her brother had it she is now living with us because she was falling all the time at her house and when she falls she has no clue how to get up. She has really gone down hill sometimes she can't remember that we gave her breakfast Lunch and dinner. she eats all of the time. She also goes to the bathroom about every five mintues She has has a hard time walking. Some days she gets really snappy with us She no longer can bath herself we have to do it for her. She had bladder surgury awhile back because her bladder was falling. out. One day she ask me what my name was Its really sad to see her like this. She is on medicine but I don't know if its helping or not. .
