Yes, Yes, Yes !!!
Now it's been nealy five years and I miss it terribly, and all the other ways of being close that couples who are active have of being with each other that slips away from us.
I miss that playful, teasing part of
a relationship.
That is another one of those things that causes a twinge of jealousy when I'm out doing something and see an obviously close couple holding hands or giggling together.
But then I talk to so many people who were in totaly crappy relationships and say that they never want to be married or in a relationship again that it's just not worth it and I feel so bad for them that they never had all that good stuff we did.
I may not have it now but I did and it was wonderful and all that love and closeness we used to have helps keep me from resenting him now. do not think I could be as patient and go through this with him if we'd not had that loveing base to work off of.
When we are having sex, I almost can believe that things are almost "normal" but shortly thereafter he might accuse me of having another man in bed with us. When this happens, I think it would be nice if he was not able to perform at all.
I just miss the closeness we used to share. I miss him wrapping his arms around me and hugging me. I miss "making love" not having sex.
I'm pretty sure that's what keeps us all going.
