I know that there will come a day when I will miss his voice but right at the moment I want to scream at him, JUST SHUT UP! FOR 5 MINUTES! GEEZ! OMG! the constant drone of the repeat conversation is driving me up a wall.

I hear ya ! This time last year Ron hounded me constantly to go for a ride - and chattered incessantly. Once I watched the clock and he said "LET'S GO'' every 7 seconds for an hour. That was something like 500 times in that hour. I was about ready to plunge a screwdriver in his head.
He kept that up for weeks - worse in the late afternoon.. like
Sundowning,
Dr finally prescribed Ativan... helped tremendously. Well.. helped me anyway.
A year later - he rarely says a word.
I guess this will pass at some point if it doesn't drive you over the edge.
Is it all day.. or sundowning time ?

more at sundowning but sometimes all day, fortunately today he has been a bit quieter.

I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING THRU. I'M GOING DOWN THAT PATH MYSELF. I JUST ASK FOR 2 MIN OF QUIET. HE SAY'S OK AND JUST STARTS IN AGAIN. AS I HAVE BEEN TOLD THIS TO SHALL PASS. I PRAY FOR THE STRENGTH TO DEAL WITH THIS. IT HELPS A LITTLE. I HOPE IT WILL GET BETTER. CNAMAGGIE
