Last night was strange, Rollie was more restless than usual and he was awake (sort of). He was mumbling things like, "Please" and "help me" and he was whimpering. He did this 3 times throughout the night. One time when I asked him what was wrong he said he was sick, another time he said 'pee'. It kind of haunted me, especially the whimpering.

Don't you wish you knew what to do ? Ron had a few episodes where tears would roll down his cheeks but he was unable to tell me anything.
I know you feel helpless.. and don't know what to do. I wish, I wish, I wish you could get hospice to come in.

Ron would whimper and call out Grammie Grammie and it made me frantic. I would very very lightly rub his arms and legs and hands and head, stroking and that would sometimes settle him......

I would wipe the tears away gently and say shhh, shhh and that sometimes seemed to help......

Well, Ken keeps raising his right arm in the air like he is reaching for something in space. It is almost like he is reaching for someone to come and get him. It is spooky as well.. Everything about this stupid disease is spooky.

I even crawled onto the bed with Carl at the home because he was so restless and fitful. I thought it might help, but it did not, it was like he was posessed or something.

I also wish you could get Rollie into hospice, it just doesn't make any sense!

That wimpering is heartbreaking ...like a little child calling for help.

If only we really knew what they are thinking. I know he feels your love and hopefully God will give him peace soon, and you too my dear friend! Love You, Sherri
