Sorry Ive not written/posted for some time but Ive not been feeling so good and somewhat lost in a density of cloud and totally disorientated as to what I should be doing, I also seem to have lost all my logic of what day of the week it is and time, although I sit at the computer with all good intentions of writing and replying to threads and my E-mails but then the moment I go to type anything my mind goes completely blank and I start struggling with my brain to even try and form the simplest of sentences that make any common sense, and I start to feel as though my brain has been downloaded of any type of communication skills

(An example of what I mean is to say that up to this point of typing this thread its taken me almost an HOUR)


What makes it even worse is if I have the slightest interruption, noise or distraction from what Im trying to type then I end up just gazing at the monitor completely bewildered trying to comprehend what I should be doing in fact when I went for my doctors check up last week I explained about this problem to her and how increasingly difficult it is now to structure a sentences in the brain and then get the words to come out in exactly the same way in typed text and without any typing errors because the brain, eye and fingers arent in coordination with each other whereby you end up with lots of red lines under the words which all becomes extremely annoying having to make so many corrections she said to me, but you mustnt give up, I told her, I dont intend giving up but can you imagine all the frustration of not being able to type a few words in your own native tongue without constantly making mistakes!! and told her that the problems not been made any easier as I keep having pains down the left side of my body that causes me to lose all my concentration.

Anyway she examined me and then sent me for laboratory tests and said that my blood sugar and blood pressure are still far to high (even though I maintain a strict diet) and apparently now my Uric acid is far to high which has resulted in me having pains in my neck, shoulder, arms, fingers and down the left side of my body to the toes, its like having constant painful pins and needles and at times the left side of my body feels almost numb so I can hardly lift my arm to type

What I did not know is that if the level of Uric acid in the body is not controlled then it can be just as serious to the health as having to high blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure, but from what she said the problem could be due to the osteoarthritis in my spine and hips?? Which cause the uric acid levels to increase thereby causing the arteries to swell up hence the pains, so yet more medication until the uric acid has decreased and under control again?

So what Im interested to know is if any other person who has any type of dementia has problems with their Uric Acid and if it causes them discomfort
