Same here, I went to bed late, checking and as soon as i woke up.....
Are the Hospice people able to help you with where he is at?
With my Dad the Hospice people gave me a pamphlet that described some of the processes that would be seen with dying......and when one came in the afternoon she said something like 'he is going off soon".......
I do hope you are surrounded by people who love you and can help you ...please rest as much as you can and drink water......
hugs and prayers.....
Praying Judy's prayer.
((((((((Hugs)))))))))
I have no words apart from hoping that it will be his last. Prayers are all I have to offer.
Hopsice hasn't been here for 2 days and I really don't care- they do nothing, they check his blood pressure and that's a bout it. I ahve asked for some repsite and even someone to come bathe him but nothing.
I am really disappointed in Hospice and my kids say I should call them but I feel like NO, I don't want them here if they don't want to be.
My kids however are AWESOME! I mean they are really standing by him, doing just about anything that needs to be done.
I can only imagine how you feel about the Hospice non-response (I've written before that I have had very mixed experiences with Hospice at both ends of the spectrum), but....I would call and talk with a supervisor stat (they have someone you can reach 24/7)and get a clear schedule...something is fouled up somewhere...if you can't make the call can a friend make it for you ?..... there may be a need for supplies or other things.......
Today is the 14th and for some reason, I just this morning got your post of the 13th. I looked last night before going to bed and got on here this morning hoping you had posted that it was over.
Maybe today....God isn't quite ready for him I guess.
Love and prayers and tears,
Carolyn
As far as hospice is concerned...call, maybe a supervisor is unaware of how they are handling things. It is absurd that they say they will be there, and do nothing or dont even show up. People simple amaze me.
Loving huge warm hugs to you and yours
