Alopecia Areata Support Group
Alopecia areata ("baldness in spots") is a form of hair loss from areas of the body, usually from the scalp. Because it causes bald spots on the head especially in the first stages, it is also called spot baldness. Hair loss can extend to eyebrows, eyelashes and facial and nasal hair and create more bald spots elsewhere in the body.
I decided to go to a dermatologist and there they took a biopsy of my scalp .
I have CCCS alopecia - you must go to a dermatologist for a proper diagnoses to know what you are dealing with - than take it from there .
GOD BLESS
In retrospect, I do feel kind of silly/guilty for stressing so much about it when it wasn't a big deal to anyone besides me. If people asked me about it, it was just because they were curious, and I didn't need to feel ashamed or embarrassed.
Stop stressing about it. There is nothing you can do about it, and stressing certainly won't help. Do what you can with however much hair you have, if it gets to the point where you don't like how the hair you have looks, shave it all off and be done with it.
