Alopecia started for the first time in my life on April 16th with a spot on my beard. I now have 6 spots on my face and neck and one on my head. I never thought this would happen to me in my 30s. I just moved into my new house with my fiance. No matter what people tell me, I stress over it to the point where I can't enjoy anything else. I've lost weight and muscle tone because I'm afraid to eat or drink like I used to and I don't even feel attractive to my fiance anymore.  The steroid shots are not helping and for some reason the doctors refuse to put me on oral steroids. I was a handsome strong guy with my whole life with the woman I loved in front of me. Now I feel like a week hospital patient. This is completely crippling me and I don't know how its not supposed to. I wish someone could give me a prognosis. I'm still able to comb my hair over the spot and I have to shave close everyday but I'm so sick of this.  I just want to be normal again. I hate that I have to accept this as the new normal... and every time I get ready to accept it, I get a new spot. I already know it's going too be hard to get a good prognosis with this many spots. If 80% of ppl, only get one I know I'm screwed. Only a matter of time before I can't hide it anymore.
