Here is my take on Valium which I never really tried before. First off I have runaway awful anxiety, panic attacks. First off I made it to 43 without Anxiety or Depression. I worked hard got a great education had my Masters at 23 and was teaching right away. At 40 the wife walks out for another guy and we had a ugly 2 year divorce I lost my house and money. Then 2 years after that I get laid off from my job of 20 years due to the economy. Saw the Shrink tried anti-depressants to this day none have helped. Tried Busphar, Klonopin and then Xanax-bingo for me a wonder drug. I explored using Valium instead even at the 10mg X3 per day dosage and honestly zero help. Back to the XANAX max dose 2mgX3 and I can function. Stress and anxiety are all relevant but when I tried Valium and then tried to teach (I taught 7th-8th grade) it was not an option. I would call for help drive home and cry all day. I have tried it alone and in combination with anti-depressants along with seeing a shrink. I wish it did work for me as I know the XANAX has a much stronger addiction affect. Still its my life and body and its a fight to stay on it (when my doctor passed the new doc wanted me to quit cold turkey-really? sigh) Anyhow I hope it works for you guys and I have a new shrink who I want to discuss using both no doubt that will be a no but Im gonna ask. I will read how you all feel on it-to me it does nada even if I take 20mg on a empty stomach crazy I know. I have lots of physical issues now bad back and legs L5, L3,L2 Sciatica, Spinal Stenosis and a lot more so my first spinal injection surgery is in 5 weeks. I am going in for Neurology also which worries me we shall see on that. But boy my MRIs were really bad and my new doctors didn't buy my pain complaints always push for those referrals to
specialists to make sure.
Good Luck
