its been a while since i wrote anything but this is the time of year i hate this winter seems to be very long i am having problems dealing with the cold would love to go somewhere warm there is nothing to do in the cold and i think about drinking alot but i know i cant and i try to be strong but at times its hard but enough about me i hope everyone is doing good out there

I can't take a drink, either!!!
I'm already tired of Winter, as well. I live near Chicago and there's plenty of snow here, and bitter cold. Bah, humbug!!!!!
I know that it's hard for you at times, but stay strong!!!! Come and talk here if it will make it easier for you!!!

Winter has been a big B this year. It'll be over soon Endo. Then we'll really appreciate the nice wam weather!

Endo, I'm in the Mid-Atlantic area of the east coast, and I feel as you do about this winter. Some days I am bored simple, as the weather keeps me inside much of the time.

Just take it a day at a time, or a minute at a time, if necessary. If you have some AA connections, keep in daily contact. Come here and chat, as there is usually someone online who can empathize with you.

Well, I am in New England and I love the snow. It is snowing again! Which is fine with me, a lot of it melted over the past couple of days. I think in some spots there is less than a foot on the ground now.

It really does help if you can bundle up and get outside.

Are the horses a new developement/hobby/sport/occupation for you? I don't recall you ever showing pics of horses....and Arabians at that....Waddup.
Oh and I love your house but it needs a basement before I could flop there.

I recently moved from living in Calif most of my life to Wisconsin.
Sometimes I wonder what the heck did I just get myself into.

I've been diagnosed with SAD in the past, and imo getting outside and getting some sun when you can helps

I don't envy your weather but I know one thing for sure. A drink will never make it warm. Living in Southern California is warm. Taking a drink will never make it cold.
