I guess TODAY is what it's like.!!!
My first 'SOBER'-in 10+ or many more straight years. I'd be somewhere on 5th Ave in New York City...enjoying my first of 10+ or so pints of Guinness, watching Bagpipers,Firefighters, Policemen and gazillions o'pretty people
(~all drunk~)stroll thru pub after pub. But NOT this year- LENT still has me not participating in the wildlife... not this day.TODAY-
I'll miss it- But I won't really miss it.!
Kinda feels- good- so OFF to work.!

And a happy 'Sober' St. Patty's day back to you, Sir! This will also be my first green holiday that does not include any green spirits. I will wear green today, as I'm sure the pinching will actually hurt without the alcohol buffer!

15 yrs ago my daughter and I went to a speaker meeting. We laughed so very hard that on the way home.....she went into labor!

First Gson...sober me, Mom and Dad. It's his birthday tommorrow.

We don't really celebrate St Patty's that much out west...well at least I never have...BUT I'll never forget one St Patty's at Steamboat Springs CO back in the late 70's. Beautiful spring skiing day I was lounging at the bottom of the hill basking in the sun when a group of about a dozen guys in green top hats, green tie's, ski boots and NOTHING else came trotting by...:D ah...now THATS a celebration to remember!

Aw, so many St. Paddy Days drinking that green beer....so many days after waking up (actually, not waking up, coming to) with a wicked hangover. So many days after calling in sick. And so many St. Paddy Days sober and enjoying the moment. This is like my 28th straight March 17 sober.

Pure dumb luck CD. Looking at the paper this morning, many didn't have the luck o the Irish on our St Pats day. Fatalities again where alcohol was a factor. Hope you guys still out there realise sooner rather than later, you may not have another chance.

Fantastic to be sober on St Pats day!! Good to remember it.
