Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Its time to start stopping. If it were only that easy. The starting has been easy, the stopping doesn't always follow.
It's the booze brain that has been in control. I know for at least the next several days will be easy. Then the daily stress builds up towards the weekend and willpower crashes into a binge of deceit.
This may be an easy place for me to be. I prefer solitude and privacy v public performances. That is not to discredit that path, I just prefer this path as my path.
Thats all I have for now. Only a mug of beer and shot of Tequila for today. There was a glass of wine yesterday. Saturday was wasted.
I'll be here, near, or not.

I knew I needed help to quit after trying hundreds of times to do it on my own, so I went to the ER and was admitted into detox where I got a complete physical and was given meds to help me through the withdrawal process. That was followed by an IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) and counseling.
How about trying a different approach like I did? You might have better success.
Good luck!
My path took be to DS. I did not do well with live groups. As a matter of fact I used to buy a bottle of wine after an AA meeting. I thought that they would drive anyone to drink. Now I+ understand that there are different paths. I must follow the one that call me. It worked.]
Today will count.
How do you get off the roller coaster? Only one way, and you know the answer.
