Good job! I am always around if you need to chat. U can't do it alone but together WE can fight the temptations. Sometimes it gets down to one minute at a time.. hang in there your doing GREAT!!

I'm having weekend anxiety too. Usually by 8 on fri night I'm pretty pissed. This is day 4 for me and I'm feeling a bit cranky this morning. Been to two AA meetings (wed & thurs) and plan on going tonight. Good for you for not giving into the beer. I'll be cheering for you and will be around this weekend to chat. Hang in there.

My partner is on his way home after being away for a week. The first thing he will want to do is open a bottle of red wine (my favourite). I don't actually know what will happen. I am just going to pray to God to keep His hand firmly on me and see what happens. I do feel though, that this will be the weekend I decide if I can handle drink or have to leave it alone for life.

Just to say that you are not the only one worrying about what this weekend will bring. Good luck to you and i hope whatever you want for you is what happens.

that is hard, I could not deal with alcohol in the house at this point-kudos to those who can. Like les said, perhaps view it like any other day, sheez for me 24/7 became one big booze fest there at the end. I will be around if you need to chat chubby baby kluvswt

I want to first say congrats on not touvhing the beer and let me tell you I can not have it in my house there is a rule and the rule is no drinking in my house and no booze. would your hubby not drink in the house around you? have you talked to him about it?
I will be on and off this weekend and remember one day at a time and if you have to min by min...remember it is just another day hun.

I will also be here for you. I don't have alcohol in my house and thank God my Husband doesn't drink. We don't allow it in our home because this is our place and we want it peaceful and happy as much as possible.Could you go visit a sober friend or AA meetings? Also could you ask your Husband to drink in another room at least? Stay strong, call people if you have too or get busy with some hobbies or things that you have put off doing.You know where drinking leads-only trouble and sorrow. It's not your friend.

hey ya'll. well it is friday nite midnight. i am stone cold sober. went out and about town with my husband, actually went game room hopping.. lost 80 bucks between us, but got dinner and a good time for 5.5 hours with that. and i did not drink a drop.. now here comes tomorrow..
