Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
Money =I though everyone wanted my money ,Banks, Counsels ,Stores, Courts but my sponsor told me there didnt want my money they wanted there money. So instead of burying my head in the ground and hoping these people would go away I started to make phone calls and arrange to make payments I was surprised at the help I received.
I could go on for ever but I would like to hear from others Do/Did you have problems and how did you solve them. Maybe you dont have problems miracles do happen.
Live well Love much Laugh often..
God Bless

Not that there's anything wrong with that ;0
But it could possibly be explained somewhat that he was drunk at the time?
In any case, who is to say a problem needs to be solved, or that it is truly a real problem? I think we get what we need, not what we want. And sometimes what we need can seem problematic.
I think that acceptance should be practiced along with fixing problems, ya know?
Oh, and exorsisms if needed by a drunk psychiatrist.
By strange coincidence, while I was in rehab in '89 in Kent, CT, Peck was very popular with the staff there and they quoted "Road Less Traveled" frequently.
We went to an outside meeting every week in the village of New Preston a few miles down the road, in M. Scott Peck's home town. The rather exquisite irony here is that even as he was being quoted and lionized as a guru of the recovery movement, he was probably home getting soused just a mile or two away.
We have some brilliant people among our ranks. Actors ,Writers ,Inventors.
I believe it was an alcoholic who invented the water bed. He wanted to share that warm feeling with everyone..
It was also an alcoholic who invented the horse shoe shaped toilet seat . So when we were on our knees in front of the porcelain altar ,(Dunny) praying those famous words Oh God never again. or just involuntary de-toxing if the seat should fall it would miss or heads.
Brilliant People.
God Bless...
