my birthday celebrations started Halloween and Nov. 1st was dead serious get f'ed up before tomorrows birthday for many years!
My 21st birthday my fears were crushed! I had become paranoid for death by or on my 21st birthday! That night parents took me to The Charcoal House for dinner and bought me my first legal drink. Im pretty sure it was bourbon and 7up. What I remember was Dad got a Gimlet which I didn't know what that was. Gin and something with an tiny onion in it.
that my sober friends was 38 years ago tomorrow and I still don't know what a Gimlet is! LOL :0)
