i gave up drugs and smoking. Im not a big drinker but i used to be before i had my son. I never wanted to have to go the er drunk or anything like that. I try to be a good mother. Lately all i want to do i drink. I guess it just goes with bs about changing the way i feel. If i do drink ihave a oouple of beers not more than 3 regular size lol but since im in NA ive gotton advice to not drink at all. im new to this group and looking for input.

I've found through working a program I haven't had to substitute any drug for alcohol. I'm an alcoholic so a few isn't a possibility for me.
It's not our place to tell you whether you're an alcoholic or not. That's your call. But if you're having cravings to drink, you might want to look at that. I had to come to my own conclusions. Welcome to the board.
I got sober to be happy, joyous and free... And for the most part, i am. Progress not perfection!
