Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

So I went to rehab, I've been here 7 days and it's been tough for me on and off, the issue is not staying sober, I haven't drank since Dec 20 and I still have 29 days left and am working on me. The thing I have done is my girl has kicked me out, but still talks to me and is supportive, tells me she loves me and misses me, and wants me better, but says not sure what will happen to us in the future or if I can ever go home, her and her family don't understand my illnesses as far as alcoholism, ptsd, depression and anxiety, thee un health thing I have done is her ex husband is trying to keep me from the kids in order to keep me away from my girl, just his excuse, he told me he loves her and wants her back, he cheated on her 3 times in 10yrs and they been divorced for 5 yrs, so I made a fake account on a dating site and contacted him, and he is still looking for other woman and telling them he will never get back with his ex wife, who is the girl I fell in love with, I've emailed him for 2 days now and he thinks I'm into him, little does he know, but I want to inform my girl as to what he is still doing so she don't end up back with him thinking he has changed, cause I'm working on me to get my family back, what should I do?

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

I now you're feeling hurt but in the grand scheme of things, your life will be a happy life if you just focus on yourself and stay sober, and allow her to live her own life, however she sees fit. Try to be patient. In the meantime, practice meditation or try to learn how to be more patient.
God Bless
If you ever get a hold of that little AA booklet called, ":Acceptance", alot of what we are saying will ring true as you read that book. It's only 20 or 30 pages in length but you will identify with every paragraph. It's very well written. Every word is laid in like a brick! It will all resonate with you. They must have a copy there someplace, you should ask.
God Bless!
Everything else will fall into place.
