Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
All I know is that once the booze stopped working as a solution all those things I liked that booze once did for me went with the solution . . . conviviality, being a happy drunk, numbed feelings, oblivion from problems of life, feeling like I fit in, sudden charisma, etc.
Just wondering if you are some things you do miss about drinking? And if you have wondered if those things are really even attainable any more when you do drink and/or if you do drink?
Here's a question. . . what is it you would miss about sobriety and recovery if you did start drinking again?
