The movie " Flight"

I watched the Movie " Flight " the other day and it truly scared me. I am an alcoholic but not as much as the character in the movie by far but it still scared me big time..

I've watched the movie a few times. I found the night before the court case to be a bit over the top (some others said they could track with it). I could envision him having a bad hangover but the room looked like a frat party had just happened.

Oh, it also bugged me that they put him in a hotel room, with a guard out front yet a fully stocked mini-bar. Come on!!

A true look at "Denial" in the life of an alcoholic. I think the mini bar was in a locked room next door. His room didn't have alcohol. But an awesome showing of "Denial" in the life of an alcoholic.

Hate to tel'l you O1 no such thing as 'not as much' bit like pregnancy you either is or isn't no half ways.

I watched this the other night I identified with several traits in me. The denial, lying, blaming, using.other, being enabled.

As for the hotel room and the guard thought he needed to be sacked if he did not hear the commotion, but as for the not remembering (blackout) so identified.

It reminded of the Dr opinion where the Doc says BB page xxvii "I do not hold with those who believe that alcoholism is entirely a problem of mental control. I have had many men who had, for example, worked a period of months on some problem or business deal which was to be settled on a certain date, favorably to them. They took a drink a day or so prior to the date, and then the phenomenon of craving at once became paramount to all other interests so that the...." The character was going to have a good outcome next day yet....
