Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

So yes, without drinking it should get better.
The protein is also affected by the liver and since the liver is the organ that helps with the kidneys to regulate sugar...this all makes sense...Just keep on the right path...your numbers are not TOO high with the exception of the AST.
But since it is off...it affects my body at the time it is off...so its a good idea to stay sober...and keep your numbers falling.
That is why I want to redo the test in a week or 2 just to make sure they do go down.
Overall if they don't (but they probably should) they could be worse, and for what I have done to my body those aren't bad for only 17 days clean in my opinion... lol but I'm no doctor.
Plus I just took a medical course on line for a career in Medical Coding.
I do believe your numbers will come down as long as you continue to do what you are doing...taking care of yourself...not drinking..trying to eat and take viatmins...or even exercise....Your on the right path...and you will be fine! :)
