Daughter was picked up Sunday. Moved back in with girlfriend. Applying for a new job. All the basic stuff. It's nice holding her every night again.

Good work JW! It is nice to start living free of alcohol. the urge to drink might comeback and maybe if you can remember how good these feelings are now it will be easier to say no thanks not today, there is a feeling I want to have tomorrow and drinking will only take it from me.
You say your daughter was picked up... is she close by, do you see her everyday?

She's 2 hours away. The loose arrangement is for us each to have her two weeks at a time, but lately she's been spending more time with me. I prefer it that way.

That's great news! Good luck on finding a job. Having a job will take away alot of stress in a young couple's life, imho!
