Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Yesterday I completed step 1 with my sponsor I had to admit I was an alcoholic (seems easy doesn't it) it took me 3 months to write about how I am powerless over alcohol and my life has become unmanageable. My sponsor even said "if you're not ready we can do it another time." However I completely admitted to him face up face that I could not pick up another drink like some ordinary person and if I did I would be going back through the torture I had to live through for 2 years.
Even though it was one of the hardest things I've had to do I felt s huge relief from it and finally getting the clarity I needed. A.A was the only thing that could keep me sober and in the 5 months I have been going it's given me so much more than I could ever imagine.
I strongly recommend it to anyone who is still having difficulty stopping or even having difficulty being sober! Without it there is no doubt in my mind that I would still be drinking today.
Lots of love!

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

I hope that you find good sobriety and the steps help you to enjoy life
