Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
I don't relate to a lot of people there days -- I don't even have that -- the heavier I drank the less I wanted to socialize so I pushed my friends away.
But I'm happy too. And sleepy. TIme for a nap.
The periods of ickies will be fewer & far between if you keep at it. Right at this moment, that's all you need to do. Be sober, breath & have a pulse. :)

I say that as, for me, I never knew what I was really feeling in early sobriety and, invariably, I was miles off (and still am today!)
Remember HALT too ..... take care of yourself and stay safe.
Thanks all, make me feel less loco. I was waiting for someone to chime in with GOYA. Coogee must be sleeping. Does she sleep? Coogee are you out there?
If your mind is gucky today, I hope you're meeting with sober friends who won't be drinking. Just a thought. :)
